How it all started
It all started with a Facebook post. In Spring 2023, neighborhood moms met for the first time to try and save the Edgebrook Farmers Market. And it evolved into so much more…
Our story
We met as strangers and became friends. A unique bond has held us together, and our little group continues to grow with volunteers. We all have the same mission: To bring our communities together with unforgettable experiences.
Our approach
Our vision was to bring events to our neighborhood that our own families, friends and neighbors could enjoy. We all are working moms, wives and partners and each bring our special skills to the table: lawyers, marketing experts, teachers, real estate agents, dentists, business owners, corporate communications/PR and a former TV reporter. We put in countless volunteer hours as group to collectively bring curated vendors, experiences, and memories to our neighborhoods. We felt such energy from every single person. Every week was FUN.
After the summer Farmers Market season was over, we wanted more and so did you! So we did it again. We threw our first ever Winter Market street fest. And you all showed up! It was magical and unforgettable.
Although we all have our day jobs, families, kids and lives, bringing these markets to our community has been so joyous and fulfilling. We want to continue to learn, and make it bigger and better every time. Our goal is to bring our four neighborhoods of Forest Glen together, and to celebrate this amazing North Branch of Chicago we all call home.
